A limited-edition collaboration between Status Anxiety and First Nations artist Daisy Hill, bringing her original artwork to life across a premium leather bag and silk scarf collection. The project celebrated storytelling through art while translating hand-painted works into beautifully crafted products.

Overview

Working alongside Daisy Hill and the Status Anxiety team, I helped bring the collaboration to life through thoughtful product design and technical artwork preparation. My role involved designing the final products in collaboration with the artist while ensuring her original artwork could be successfully adapted for large-scale textile production.

Alongside the design process, I attended and supported the campaign launch in Byron Bay, participating in the influencer event that celebrated the collection and its story.

What I Did

Collaborative Product Design
Worked closely with artist Daisy Hill to design the final leather bag and silk scarf, ensuring each piece honoured the original artwork while meeting the functional requirements of the products.

Technical Artwork Preparation
Digitally recreated and refined the hand-painted artwork, preparing it for high-resolution textile printing while carefully preserving the character, detail and integrity of the original piece.

Production Collaboration
Liaised with internal teams throughout the development process to ensure artwork translated accurately across different materials and manufacturing methods.

Launch Event
Attended the collaboration launch and influencer event in Byron Bay, supporting the campaign and helping bring the collection to life through an immersive brand experience.

Outcome

The collaboration launched as a limited-edition collection featuring a leather bag and silk scarf, combining Daisy Hill's distinctive artwork with Status Anxiety's signature craftsmanship. The project successfully transformed original painted artwork into premium fashion accessories while maintaining the authenticity of the artist's vision.
